AskQuickly is a new search engine that operates on a peer-to-peer network. The site is currently in private beta. The idea behind AskQuickly is that leveraging users to provide the web sites for the search engine’s database is better than the process used by other search giants like Google. The project will also intergrate Askquickly own database to support results away from the p2p network. In English if no results or users are found your search results will come from our own database.

AskQuickly takes the idea of a centralized search engine like Google and spreads it out to the users. With this service installed, your computer becomes a micronode on the AskQuickly search network.

You’ll need to download the service in order to participate in AskQuickly’s network, and the ranking for web search is based on our ranking system. Every time you open a website, We will index the site as you surf the web. The longer you’re online with AskQuickly, the more value you provide to the overall network.

The download wont be available until out of private beta testing, in the mean time please continue to use our search results.

Cool, don't you think?
